She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Williams and Thelma Williams; her husband John Miller Lyon; and her siblings, Kenneth Williams and Kathy Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Lyon, John Lyon and Kathy Lyon; her grandson Zack Wessinger; her great grandchild Caroline Wessinger; and her brothers, James Williams and David Arnold Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
