He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Brian Helmer. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Sorensen and Gisela Sorensen; his wife Jodi Sorensen; his children, Taylor and Trent Sorensen; his brother Eric Sorensen (Debi); his aunt Sabine Malloy; his mother-in-law Rose Helmer; his sister Julie; and his brother-in-law Fred Yax. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be used to support organizations dear to Mark's heart.
