He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Leon Peeler and Edythe Smith Peeler; his brother Douglas Lee Peeler; and his grandparents, George Alexander, Daisy Peeler, William and Fannie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Morris Peeler of Canton; his children, Michael Chase Peeler of Acworth and Brittany Peeler Locker (Zach Locker) of Canton; his grandchildren, Everett Manning Locker, Preston Gage Locker, Miles Cameron Locker and Roxie Laine Locker; and his siblings-in-law, Faye Morris Miles of Woodstock and Wayne L. Morris (Margarett Morris) of Perry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakeside Funeral Home (121 Claremore Dr, Woodstock, GA 30188). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Macedonia Memorial Park (10685 E Cherokee Dr, Canton, GA 30115).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Furkids, an organization whose mission honors the family's love of animals.
