With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nanthaniel O'Neal Burton of Canton, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine (Johnson); his parent Lorenza Burton (Edna Pitts); and his siblings, Sandy Julius, Ressia Gullate (Callaway) and Edie Ruth Barton.

He is survived by: his children, Latasha Hart, Brian Hart, Keithan Hart, Christy Burton and Yahsha Poque (Murph); his stepchildren, Antwon Moore (Cassie), Rhonda Hart (Dana) and Robert McKinney (Nicole); his siblings, Lorenza Burton (Bettye), Henry Burton (Ella) and Effie Byrd (Burton); and his close friends, Kevin Foster and Robert Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, relatives.
