With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard J. Battista of Canton, Georgia, who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Battista and Sylvan Battista of Endicott, NY; and his former wife Jean Battista. He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Battista of Endicott, NY and Judy Romeo of North Carolina; his wife Patsy; his children, Allison Robenstein, Kelly Libolt and Susan Schaeffer; his stepchildren, Sherry Mitchell, Wendy Greenlaw and Robbie Greenlaw; and his grandchildren, Ashley Libolt, Brynn Robenstein, Ryan Libolt, Sydney Robenstein, Jack Schaeffer and Sam Schaeffer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Church in Waleska Georgia.
