Robert Sessions Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2024, at the age of 97, Robert Sessions (Canton, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Reeves Sessions and John Turner Sessions; and his brother Dr. John T. Sessions, Jr. (Helen Jeannette Sessions). He is survived by: his children, Ken Sessions (Jenny), Noel Knight (Dexter) and Lee Sessions (Kaye); his stepson Ronald Marshall; and his daughter Mary Sessions (Antonio). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Shallowford Presbyterian Church.
