He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Woody and Mary Hood Woody; his wife Sarah "Bea" Woody; and his siblings, John Woody, Earl Woody, Ruth Champion, Wilda Lunsford, Ruby Johnson, Geraldine Smith and Louise Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Woody and Robert Woody Jr. (Cathy); and his grandson Robert "Dallas" Woody of Canton, Georgia.. He is also survived by family, including extended relatives and in-laws.
