He was predeceased by: his sister Elizabeth; his brother-in-law Spud Lovett; his brothers, Bob Longshore and Buddy; his sister-in-law Frances Longshore; his sister Martha; his brother-in-law Burl Gilliland; his sister Sara; his brothers-in-law, Melvin Tucker and Jim Gravitt; and his brother Jimmy Longshore.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Williams Longshore; his son Edward; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Longshore of Bluffton, S. C; his children, Deana Lynn Longshore Gasway of Canton, GA and Jeffery; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Longshore of Woodstock, GA; his daughter Elizabeth; his son-in-law Karl Stephens of Savannah, GA; his son Andrew Longshore Bailey; his grandchildren, Rodrick Longshore of Woodstock, GA, Logan Gasaway of Ball Ground, GA, Sterling Stephens of Savannah, GA and Violet Bailey of Cumming, GA; and his sister Emma Gravitt of Scottsboro, AL. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
