She is survived by: her parents, Alan C. Hanson and Carol B. Hanson; her siblings, Erika B. Gray, Boyd A. Hanson and Luke A. Hanson; and her siblings' children, Colton J. Gray, Ava C. Gray, Lily Bella Gray and Ella S. Hanson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandy's name may be made to "No Longer Bound" and "Mary Hall Freedom House.".
