He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Honea; his parents, Noel Honea and Luna Honea; and his siblings, Watson Honea, Harold Honea, Geraldine Honea Ginger Snipes and Bonnell Honea Montgomery.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Ann Harris (Boyce), Tammy Williams (Michael), Richard Honea (Lisa), Angela Young (Stanley), Robin Rogers (Wayne) and Kyle Honea (Tamra). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
