Though Steven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barnes and Opal Sue Barnes; and his brother David Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Barnes; his son Andrew Barnes; and his sisters, Patricia Crown of Marietta, GA and Sandi Cox (Tony) of Cartersville, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family is accepting flowers, or donations can be made to a college fund for his son, Andrew.
