He was predeceased by: his niece Mia Prather; his uncle Johnny Rich; and his grandparents, Arthur Lee, Claudine Prather, Joe and Hazel Rich.
He is survived by: his parents, Garry Prather and Ann Prather of Jasper; his wife Amanda Prather of Canton; his sons, Jordan Prather (Melissa) of Jasper and Jacob Prather (Samirah) of Jasper; his brother Adam; his sister-in-law Kelly Prather of Jasper; his grandchildren, Aliyah Jean Prather of Jasper, Dylan Steve of Jasper, Grayson Steve of Jasper and Lennon Steve of Jasper; and his nephews, Ridge Prather of Jasper and Micah Prather of Jasper.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the memorial fund for Veterans and Suicide Prevention at Community Bank of Pickens County.
