He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ray and Opal Ray; and his siblings, Donis Ray, Donald Ray, Barbara Payne and Betty Jean Ray.

He is survived by: his wife Amanda Ray; his children, William Ray (Michelle), Jason Ray, Stephanie Galvez (Carlos), Timothy Ray and Jacqueline Ray; and his siblings, Ricky Ray, Tommy Ray, Ronnie Ray, Maudin Breeden, Patricia Carmen, Beverly Padgett, Mary Sue Brooks and Shirley Fain. He is also survived by his family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist the family.
