He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine Cook and Samuel Cook; and his children, Benny Cook and Penny Cook. He is survived by: his wife Frances Cook; his son Stanley Cook (Tina); his sister Myrtle Samples; and his grandchildren, Matthew Cook, Leslie Cox, Brittany Becklean and Lauren McCaslin. He is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren.

The family is accepting flowers and donations to the Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
