He was predeceased by: his former wife Sandy R. Hamilton; and his siblings, Raymond Hamilton and Frances Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Janie Nichelson Hamilton; his daughters, Denise Hamilton and Sarah Ellis (Joey); his grandchildren, Bailey Ellis, Jared Ellis and Morgan Ellis; his brother Robert A. Hamilton; his son Scot Shirley (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Levi Shirley and Tatum Shirley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
