We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2025, at the age of 98, Willie Mae Sparks of Canton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Hitt and Pearl Collett Hitt; her husband Doug Sparks; her children, Charles Sparks, Jerry Sparks and Linda Jane Sparks; her children-in-law, Laverne Sparks, Ruel Davis and Roy Elrod; and her brothers, Roy Hitt, Junior Hitt, Glenn Hitt, Toy Hitt and Calvin Hitt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia Davis, Helen Smith (Raymond) and Phyllis Sparks. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home Chapel (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114).
