It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Frank Eavenson of Carnesville, Georgia, who passed away on April 26, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Eavenson and Ossie Bell Barnes Eavenson; his siblings, Cliff Eavenson (Doris), Reba Segars (Leon), Nelson Eavenson, Gene Eavenson (Patsy) and Rachel Eavenson; his former wife Cornelia Hart Eavenson; his grandchildren, Kristi Duckett and Reed Haga; his son-in-law Bobby Haley; and his brother-in-law Robert Segars.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Eavenson; his children, Gary Eavenson (Lynn), Darrell Eavenson (Kim), Sharon Barnes (David) and Becky Haley; his stepchildren, Darcel, Wendel, Garland and Regina; his grandchildren, Brandon Eavenson, Bridget Ginn (Johnlee), Rachel Haga (Marc), Collin Eavenson, Cindel Phillips (Matt), Janna Vasile (Tony) and Lori Milford (John); his siblings, Pauline Segars, Dwight Eavenson (Barbara), Haskell Eavenson (Dorothy), Charles Eavenson (Carol), Faye Phillips (Richard) and Ann Tompkins (Benny); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Ann Eavenson. He is also survived by eight Great Grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
