He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred C. Elsner and Alice Pearl Carson Elsner; his wife Mae Francine Poole Elsner; and his brother Jesse. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Hyatt of Carnesville, Diane Lewis (John) of Carnesville, Norma Walters (Barry) of Carnesville, Elaine Elsner (Roger) of Carnesville and Connie Oliver (John) of Cornelia; and his brother Virgil Elsner of Mableton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (1310 New Bethel Rd, Carnesville, GA 30521). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
