We are sad to announce that, on December 5, 2025, at the age of 71, Rick Whorley of Carnesville, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rick Whorley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Whorley and Virginia Shelton Whorley of Richmond; and his brother Ronnie Whorley of Richmond, Virginia.. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Judy Jarecki-Black of Carnesville, Georgia; his stepsons, Massai (Jenny Jarecki), Justin Bell (Georgia) of Royston, Patrick, Whitney Hand (Georgia) of Decatur, Ian (Jessica Black), Nicholas (Theresa Black), Cellaigh, Brantley Harrington Corbitt (Georgia) of Athens and Jamarcus Highsmith of Elberton, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Christian Jarecki, Jackson White, Jillian Jarecki, David Jarecki, Eliot Hand, Emily Hand, Leila Black, Charles Black and Oscar Black; and his niece Bethany Whorley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rick's honor to Commerce Veterinary Hospital, located at 1012 S. Broad St., Commerce, GA 30529, to assist with the cost of caring for animals, a cause that was near and dear to Rick's heart.
