Amy Caroline Carlson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2025, at the age of 65, Amy Caroline Carlson in Carrollton, Georgia, born in Lakehurst, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Amy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Amy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Elizabeth Groves Sanders; and her brother Lee Sanders. She is survived by: her father Jimmy Sanders; her boyfriend Ward Gilbert; her boyfriend's children, Dylan and Natalie; and her sisters, Camille Handley and Anne Marie Worley.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Amy's honor to: WGTC's Adult Education program (https://secure.qgiv.com) which offers free instruction in reading, writing, math, and English language acquisition, as well as preparation for the GED® and HiSET® tests.
