He was predeceased by: his son Derek Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Carole Judy Evans of Carrollton, GA; his children, Cathy Field of Carrollton, GA, Lynda Underwood (Dave) of Powder Springs, GA, Lisa Patterson of Powder Springs, GA and Todd Ellis (Debbie) of Wedowee, AL; and his siblings, Carol Hanson of Summerville, GA and Michael Ellis (Ann) of Kennesaw, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
