It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beverly Flegal Parkman of Carrollton, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wesley and Myrl Beaver Flegal; and her grandparents, Mack Dorse Beaver, Rebecca Riley Beaver, Alfred Lever and Mattie Roberts Flegal.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Parkman Ivey (Lance) of Carrollton and Mark Robert Parkman (Kelly) of Athens; her husband David; her grandsons, Blake Ivey (Savannah), Alex Parkman, Will Parkman and Charlie Parkman; and her great grandchild Rhett Sadler. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Carrollton First Methodist Church - Gathering Room (206 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carrollton First Methodist Church (206 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117).
