He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Phillips and Nellie Kate Crumbley Phillips; and his siblings, Woodrow Phillips and Katie Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hanson Phillips; his sons, Billy Michael, Weston "Wes" Phillips (Sheilah) and David R. Phillips of Carrollton, GA.; his grandchildren, Kierston M. Phillips and Weston H. Phillips; his great grandchild Johanna; and his sister Frances Thompson of Troy, MI.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
