He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Elton Brooks, Sr. and Louise Phillips Brooks; his brothers, Jeff Sulzer and Billy Sulzer; and his siblings-in-law, Don Baker, Billy Pendry, Margaret Brocato, Doris Cross and Brenda.
He is survived by: his wife Carrol F. "Fran" Brooks; his daughters, Lisa Hines (Tim) and Jennifer Brooks; his grandchildren, Brooke Wade (Jay), Spencer Hines and Hunter Hines; his stepgrandson Tim Hines (Emily); his sisters-in-law, Glenda Baker and Audrey Moncada (Paul); and his cousins, Kathie Bartlett (Alvin), Chrissie Pedan (Tom) and Rick Sulzer. He is also survived by seven step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Almon Funeral Home (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Cuthbert United Methodist Church (187 Lumpkin St, Cuthbert, GA 39840).
