He was predeceased by: his parents, Benton F. Pace and Mabey C. Pace; his wife Arlene Pace; his former wife Annie Mae Pace; his grandson Chris Roberts; and his sister Jo Pace.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Donald Bennett, Greg Pugh (Brandy), Brenda Buffington and Patricia Vento. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
