He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Ann Smith and Carrie Gable; his close friend Neil Hendrix; his sister Elaine Clapton; his daughter-in-law Sherry Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Billy, Myra Baxter and Iona Baxter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
