Cloma Chandler Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Cloma Chandler of Carrollton, Georgia. Cloma, born on July 16, 1937, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Williamson and Minnie Williamson; her husband Rev. Talmadge Chandler; and her siblings, W. H. Williamson, Jessie Williamson, Norris Williamson and Lynell Huggins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Chandler Gillham (Steve), Delisa Chandler Gledhill (Jeff) and Evangeline Chandler Starks (Lamar); her grandchildren, Priscilla Terry (Brian), Rebecca Banks (Joe), Luke Gledhill, Lauren Gann (Curtis), Chandler Starks (Hannah) and Hampton Starks; and her brothers, Garland Williamson (Marie) and Billy Williamson (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Almon Funeral Home (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Almon Funeral Home and Chapel (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the AntIoch Baptist Church (31 Antioch Church Rd, Carrollton, GA 30117).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ascend Women's Care & Family Support Pregnancy Care Center, 514 Tanner Street, Carrollton, Georgia 30117, a ministry that was very dear to Mrs. Cloma and her family.
