He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Nelson and Stella Hoover Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Flaviana Nelson of Carrollton; his children, Maria Stella Taylor (Joe) of Matlacha, FL, Patricia Brown of Carrollton, Susan Hill (Bert) of Villa Rica and David Nelson (Darrell) of Atlanta; his sister Gail Prusynski of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and his grandchildren, Valarie Collins, Jimmy Taylor, Michael Taylor, Andrew-Jaymes Fernandez, Shannon Hill, Jonathan Garcia, Cidra Garcia, Krista Taylor and Sylvia Taylor. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
