He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Allae Alford and Emmie Sue Lumpkin Alford; and his siblings, Bennett Alford, William Alford, Vivian Alford and James Alford.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Spradley Alford; his sons, John (Suzanne Alford), Kirk (Anne Alford), Alan (Tammy Alford) and Rob (Kim Alford); his grandchildren, Emma Goodwin (Austin), John Ryan Alford, Daniel Alford, Hannah Alford, Jane Alford (Madison Jones), Aiden Alford, Chase Alford (Cheyenne), Sarah Beth Waterman (Jonathan), Ty Alford and Gracie Alford; and his great grandchildren, Cate Jones, Maddie Jones, Cooper Waterman, Beckett Waterman, Sunday Alford and Paxton Frank Waterman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Old Camp Church (77 Old Camp Church Rd, Carrollton, GA 30117). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
