He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Charles Peavy, Sr. and Virginia Lee Peavy (Shockley); and his brothers, Larry Merneigh and Fred Merneigh. He is survived by: his children, Gordon Charles Peavy, III and Stacey Daugherty of Yelm, Washington; his sisters, Melody Lindsey (Roger) of Villa Rica, Melinda Hulsey (Tony) of Temple, Melissa Cooley of Franklin and Mary Sue Sikes (Mike) of Jacksonville, Florida.; and his grandsons, Isaac and Tyler. He is also survived by three nieces, five nephews, and many other relatives.
