We are sad to announce that, on January 5, 2026, at the age of 83, Jo Sybil McGuire of Carrollton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jo may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee McGuire and Jewel Agnes Nixon McGuire; and her siblings, Bobby Lee McGuire, Steve Rodney McGuire, Jean M. Laney and Frances Graves.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty M. Branson and Jerry M. Eady. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
