It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Yow Gladin of Carrollton, Georgia, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse C. Yow and Frances Stelling Yow; and her husband Collier B. Gladin, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn G. Robertson (Thomas A.), Collier B. Gladin, Jr. (Julie Yates) and David C. Gladin; her grandsons, Scott Robertson (Leighanne), Brandon Gladin (Amanda), Brett Robertson (Heather), Mark Robertson (Jessica), Collier B. Gladin III (Kelly) and Dustin Gladin (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Tristen Gladin, Kyleigh Gladin, Luke Robertson, Noah Robertson, Joan Gladin, Piper Robertson, Elizabeth Gladin, Hattie Robertson, Daniel Gladin and Micah Robertson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Almon Funeral Home (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Almon Chapel (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Omni Christian Services, 324 Dyer Road, Carrollton, GA 30116, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
