He was predeceased by: his wife Janis Kagiyama; and his siblings, Edward Kagiyama, Stanley Kagiyama and Marilyn Sunahara. He is survived by: his daughters, Rev. Karen Kagiyama (David Newton) and Maile Steimer (Tim); and his grandchildren, Kelcy Newton Webster (Mitch), Caroline Newton, Madison Steimer (Ian Yount), Patrick Steimer (Grace) and Hamilton Steimer.
