He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Lou Williams Burke and Herman Franklin Burke. He is survived by: his wife Sabrina Burke Eubanks; his children, Colista Burke, Lucius Burke II and Stephen Burke (Hannah); his siblings, Patsy B. Keeber, Wayne Burke and Pete Burke; and his grandchild Bausten Burke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
During his career, his contributions to agriculture were honored with the prestigious FFA American Farmer Award, a testament to his dedication and significant impact within his community.
