It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Hendrix of Carrollton, Georgia, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Buck Chaney and Dovie Eason Chaney; and her siblings, John Chaney, Jerry Chaney, Frances Payne and Virginia Allen.

She is survived by : her children, Richard (Kim Johnson), Beverly (Chris Tilley), Elizabeth (Jim Hall) and William "Bill" Hendrix; her grandchildren, Georgia Johnson, Shandi Willis, Nicholas Tilley, Mary Justin Johnson and Aidan Hall; and her great grandchildren, Christopher and Parker Tilley.
