She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Richard Warren James and Ruth Sophia Volkmann James; her husband Donald Ray Hicks; her children, Donald Ray Hicks II (Lina), Allison Hicks Pollak (Eric) and David James Hicks (Sara); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Pollak (Greg), Joshua Pollak (Sarah), Mason Hicks, Samantha Pollak, Emily Hicks, Dawson Hicks (Lacey), Tyler Hicks and Jackson Hicks; and her great grandchildren, Alice Rose Pollak, Charles Frances Pollak, Micah Philip Nudi, Audrey Jane Pollak and Ava Margaret Hicks.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (102 Dixie St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
