It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell S. Thomas of Carrollton, Georgia, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Stephens and Hester Rachel Durham Stephens; and her siblings, Vernon Stephens, Martha Holliday, Alma Reid and Mildred Powell.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her son Eric; her daughter-in-law Christy Thomas; her daughters, Susan (Anthony Hill) and Jean (Hal Knott); her grandchildren, Rick, Chasidy Thomas, Lori, Tanner Roach, Jack Thomas, Chris Thomas, Ben Hill, Rachel Hill, Katie, Christopher Lanier, Amy, Cody Daniel, Rebekah Knott, Thomas, Caroline Knott, Elizabeth Knott and Anna Knott; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Cameron, Audrey, Ansley, Caden, Bentley, Bella, McKenna, Tripp and Lily; and her sisters, Frances Cromer, Sue Gilstrap, Ruby Duncan and Rosalee Britton.
