He was predeceased by: his parents, W. O. Cook and Myrtie Jones Cook; his brother Aaron Cook; and his grandson Shane Lawhorn. He is survived by: his wife Winnie Annelle Jones Cook; his daughters, Kay Cook, Fay Cook, Jill (William Smolar) and Amy (Tim Adams); his siblings, Telva Wood, Monzelle Cooper, Rachel Noles and Hoy Cook; and his grandchildren, Dawn Smith, Jesse Price, Justin Price, Miranda Smolar, Noah Adams, Jacob Adams and Grace Adams. He is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
