He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior "J. D. Pete" Davis and Melba Shadrix Davis; and his brother Jeff Davis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane McWhorter Davis; his sons, Chris Davis (Niccole) and Dustin Davis (Meghan); his grandchildren, Ansley, Beckett, Charleston Davis, Monroe and Evie Davis; and his siblings, Ella Akin (John), Rodney Davis (Paula) and Janet Gilbert (Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
