She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tatum, Sr. and Rhonda Marie Tatum (Fincher); her son David Chong; and her brothers, Scott and Jeff Tatum.

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Chong (Alisha) of Temple and Stephen Fincher (Spencer) of Cartersville; her siblings, Charles Tatum, Jr. of Dothan, Michael Tatum (Angie) of Kennesaw, Matthew Tatum of Villa Rica, Pamela Fishburne of Carrollton and Laura Ferguson of Carrollton; her grandsons, Isaiah, Dylan and Joe; and her niece Jessie Smith. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
