She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Daniel Samples and Suela Mae Yarbrough Samples; her husband James Milton Griffin, Sr.; and her children, James Milton Griffin, Jr. and Susan May Griffin Eustace.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Jo Griffin Webb (Dale) and Mark Griffin (Audrey); and her sister Frances Samples Brown. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
