She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Seegars and Hannie Bell McGriff Seegars; her husband James Welford Morehead; and her daughter Laura V. Williams. She is survived by: her son James M. Morehead (Sharon) of Villa Rica, GA; her nephew Lafayette Seegars of Spokane, WA; Mary Little of Austell, GA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
