Wayne leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Wayne’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Merlin Perry and Mae Weathington Perry; wife: Millie Smith Perry; brother: Render Perry; sons: Mark Perry and Matt Perry (Crystal); stepsons: Kevin King (Griselle), Allen King (Sharon), and Robbie King (Gina); other: Shane Roberson and John Pennington; thirteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin & Hightower Funeral Home (1312 S Park St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (694 Mount Pleasant Church Rd, Carrollton, GA 30116).
