She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Hawkins and Frances Margaret Hawkins; her stepfather Rueben Ponder; her husband Gene Tunney Kight; her brother Lee Nichols; and her great great grandchild Easton Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Simpson (Gerald), Pat Hill (Elmo) and Peggy Pulliam; and her grandchildren, Stacey Williams (Jay), Kim Ferguson (Wes), Missy Ayers (Tony), Connie Permenter, Londa Lischkge (Jared) and Melia Pulliam (Nate Fry). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
