He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Leslie Chastain and Lula Bell Chastain; his son Ted Chastain; and his siblings, Evelyn Dabbs, Mary Lou Brown, Mamie Mitchell of Minnie Chastain, J. W and Tommy Chastain.
He is survived by: his wife Gina Siniard Chastain; his children, Tony Chastain of Cartersville and Tracy Chastain of Acworth; and his grandchildren, Ivey, Patrick and Stephen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
