She is survived by: her husband Joe Nix; her children, Teresa West (Mike), Darla Hall (Jeff), Keith Nix and Russell Nix; her grandchildren, Amber, Allison, Darian and Thomas; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Rhett, Remi, Quilly, Archie, Banks, Renleigh and Bowen; and her siblings, Gayle Payne and James Cornett (Cille). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
The family welcomes flowers and contributions in Brenda's honor to the Gateway Church Building Fund.
