It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Shook of Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shook and Amanda Ledford Shook; his siblings, Frank Shook, Grady Shook, Marlon Shook, Vernie Shook, Bonnie Roberson, Ruth Baker and Naomi Mulkey; his stepsons, Eddie Godfrey and Johnny Godfrey; and his son-in-law Lawrence White.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Prewett Shook; his children, Susan Greene and John Shook; and his stepchildren, Tony Payne (Tricia), David Payne (Kendall), Cindy Payne, Rick Godfrey (Jayne), Debbie Chambers (Jerry), Phyllis White and Mike Godfrey (Vivian). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
