She was predeceased by: her mother Inez Byrd Sharrock; her husband Donald Milton Hyden; her father Earl Sharrock; and her siblings, Charles Sharrock, Wilma Steele and Joyce McLean.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tami Atkinson Matthews (Earl) of Cartersville, GA and Jana Atkinson Johnson (Chris) of Cartersville, GA; her stepchildren, Starr Jordan of Lavonia, GA and Dwayne Stallings (Linda) of Monroe, GA; her grandchildren, BJ Johnson of Powder Springs, GA, Breanna Johnson Cannon (Kyle) of Marietta, GA, Jeremy Drawdy (Brandy) of Adairsville, GA and Katie Matthews Schultz (Hunter) of Cartersville, GA; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Levi Johnson, Charlie Cannon, Tyler, Rhett, Garrett Drawdy and Emmy Schultz; her sister Marjorie Rynott of Dothan, AL.; and her cousin Catherine Roberts of Rossville, GA.. She is also survived by Several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations be made to Atco Baptist Church, 20 Parmenter Street, Cartersville GA, 30120 in the memory of Carolyn Frances Sharrock Hyden in lieu of flowers.
