She was predeceased by: her parents, Lizzie Mark and James Kay Sr.; her siblings, Eva Mae Archie, Annie Lee Lewis and James Kay, Jr.; and her grandson Corey Youngblood.
She is survived by: her children, Harriet Wells (Eddie), Hattie Pearl Perry and Donald Strickland; her cousin Minister Eloise Jackson; and her close friend Irene Cooley. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a great-great- grandchild.
