He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Wofford Shaw; his sons, Dexter Shaw, Jr. (DeShawna Griffin) and Trevor Shaw (Leira Nelson); his grandchildren, Bailee Shaw, Easton Shaw and Nova Shaw; his mother Reverend Bessie Furr (James); his parents-in-law, Willie and Sheila Wofford; his siblings, Kimberly Mitchell, Horace Shaw (Monica), Jaretta Shaw Callahan (Teela), Todd Wofford (Aja), Paula Canate and Senita Pritchett; his aunts and uncles, Barbara Perkinson, Linda Perkinson (Nathaniel), Doris Shaw, Tammy Yearwood (George), Haney (William) of Texas, Stephanie Kersey (Thomas), Beverly Livsey (Randy), Clara Gregg, Georgia Echols, Bonnie Johnson (Roger), Gloria Belcher (Louis), Alma Byrd (Bill), Rita Hudson, Alice Fowler, Ricky Cotton, Randolph Blalock (China), Walter Blalock (Lucille), Larry Blalock and Ronald Hudson (Sharon); his godmother Charlotte Linley; his cousins, Shannon Perkinson, Kevin Knowles, Fred Scrutchins, Cynthia Russell and Rebecca Jones; and his close friend Ricky Patton.
